AssetCo plc (AIM:ASTO) the integrated support services business, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract to provide ‘frontline ambulances’ to the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust over a two year period, worth circa £7 million in the first year.
AssetCo is the pioneering provider of Integrated Services to the Emergency Services in the UK, and already holds a 20-year PFI contract with London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority in supplying, maintaining and managing over 500 front line and operational vehicles, and 50,000 items of operational equipment for the London Fire Brigade.
Peter Mounsey, Managing Director of AssetCo’s Ambulance business unit said:
