On the 23rd October and the 1st November 2010, AssetCo Fire and Rescue Limited mobilised its Emergency Fire and Rescue Crews to protect London during the strike action called by the Fire Brigades Union (FBU).
Under the terms of our agreement with the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA), AssetCo Fire and Rescue deployed 27 fully crewed fire appliances, from 27 strategic locations across the London Fire Brigade area. In addition to deploying appliances and Crews, AssetCo also provided Gold Command Managers and Command Support Teams to assist Crews at fire and rescue incidents.
